Head to the Cumberland State Forest in West Pennant Hills, just 30 minutes from Sydney CBD, for a self-guided tree ropes adventure among the pines. After a safety briefing and gearing up with helmet and harness, you’re free to work your way through swinging bridges, cargo nets and ziplines across six difficulty levels — from Junior and Beginner through to Advanced and Expert.
Allow around 2.5 hours all up, including check-in and gearing up. Grip gloves are required for all climbers and are purchased separately at the park.
Courses are a short walk from reception along a forest track, with dedicated parking around 10 minutes’ walk away — arrive 30 minutes ahead of your session for parking and check-in.
