Leave the city behind and head north into the Sunshine Coast hinterland on this full-day small-group tour. Your first stop is Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, a pocket of subtropical rainforest with sweeping lookout views over the Glass House Mountains — a cluster of ancient volcanic peaks steeped in Aboriginal legend.
From there, wind through the hinterland to Montville, a mountain-top village known for its cobbled streets, artisan galleries, handmade fudge and cosy cafes. Next up are the famous Eumundi Markets, one of Australia’s largest artisan markets, packed with handmade goods, local produce and street food stalls (on Fridays, when the main markets aren’t running, the tour visits the smaller Eumundi Square Market instead).
The afternoon is spent in Noosa Heads, with free time to explore the boutiques and cafes of Hastings Street, relax on the beach, or walk part of the coastal track through Noosa National Park, keeping an eye out for dolphins and koalas along the way. The tour returns to Brisbane in the late afternoon.
